Let there be chapter of hope, In the story of Palestine

English Poetry

Bint-e-Nazir

Let there be chapter of hope,

In the story of Palestine

In the heart of the Middle East, a land  so old,

A story of a people, a tale untold.

Palestine, a name that echoes through time,

In every verse, in every rhyme.

Amidst olive groves and ancient walls,

A struggle for freedom, the world recalls.

In the shadow of conflict, a people stand,

Resilient, steadfast, in their homeland.

From Gaza’s shores to the West Bank’s hills,

Where sorrow and hope intertwine like rills.

Children play amidst the rubble and strife,

Dreaming of a peaceful, brighter life.

Jerusalem, a city of ancient dreams,

Where history’s pages, conflict teems.

But in its alleys, stories of peace persist,

A hope that hatred cannot resist.

In the refugee camps, where memories are kept,

A longing for home, where tears have wept.

In the hearts of the diaspora, a flame burns strong,

For a land they’ve yearned for, for so long.

Let’s pray for peace, a lasting accord,

For the people of Palestine, their voices heard.

May justice and compassion pave the way,

To a brighter, peaceful, and harmonious day.

In the tapestry of nations, let us find a place,

Where every soul can find their grace.

In the story of Palestine, let there be a chapter,

Of hope, reconciliation, and a peaceful hereafter.
